Tainá Del Negri

About me
Tainá Del Negri,
photographer
Tainá Del Negri is a photographer based in Northern California, working at the intersection of memory, light, and lived experience. Her practice is rooted in the observation of places, people, and the emotional layer in between them.
Her origin in Brazil shapes her life and art. Along the Northern California coast, Tainá’s work reflects the landscapes around. She approaches photography as a way of slowing down time, building visual art with presence and intimacy. She is drawn to the beauty of human connection, documenting moments as they naturally unfold. Whether working closely with individuals or quietly observing from a distance, her images aim to preserve a sense of beauty, honesty and emotional truth.
Her photographs often balance documentary instinct with poetic composition, allowing ordinary moments to become visual narratives. Through natural light, careful framing, and an intuitive sense of timing, she creates work that feels grounded in reality while remaining dreamlike compositions.
Del Negri continues to develop her practice through personal and commissioned projects, guided by curiosity, nature, people, and the evolving dialogue between where she comes from and where she is now.
Tainá Del Negri, was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where
she started learning the art of photography in the early ’s 2000's. She had
traveled in Brazil, and other countries, capturing instants and filming documentaries about society, art and culture.
